Engaging Nonviolence - 6 Week Online Course 12-1:30pm EST Wednesdays, May 15, 22, 29 & June 5, 12, 19
Nonviolence is a way of life, a set of principles, a collection of practices for navigating conflict, and a toolbox for making change. This 6-week online course is a basic introduction to principled and strategic nonviolence using Pace e Bene's Engaging Nonviolence Study Guide. Together, participants will discover the many dimensions of active nonviolence from inner practices to tools for interpersonal conflicts to actions for social change. Using discussions, small group conversations, and participatory exercises, facilitators Rivera Sun and Nina Koevoets will guide the group through explorations of how nonviolence relates to our lives, spirits, and communities. This course is designed to be accessible, fun, friendly, and fearless.
Fee: $50 for the series. Registration Deadline: Monday, May 6th. Mount Saint Mary House of Prayer will order the Engaging Nonviolence Study Guide for all participants. The Zoom link will be sent directly from Pace e Bene.
