CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS WITH ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI

Every year Christians throughout the world bring out their nativity creches in their churches and homes, a tradition begun by St. Francis of Assisi. Learn the story of the first Christmas creche and why the seasons of Advent and Christmas were so special to Francis and remain so among Franciscans today. Bring your creche or Child Jesus for a special blessing. The program will include a presentation and time for prayer and sharing.
